The Aprilia Red Rose and Aprilia Classic were two classic-styled cruiser motorcycles produced by Aprilia between 1988 and 2002. The Aprilia Red Rose was the first series, and the Aprilia Classic was the second series released in 1992.

The Aprilia Red Rose was part of the first series and was powered by a single-cylinder liquid-cooled Rotax engine found on both 50 and 125cc versions. It was a custom or street motorcycle similar to other models from other manufacturers, such as the Moto Guzzi Custom 125, Gilera Eaglet, Yamaha Virago 125, and Cagiva Roadster.

In 1991, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Aprilia 125 Red Rose, a small displacement motorcycle designed for riders searching for a classic-looking cruiser but still prefer a European-built machine.

The 1991 motorcycle featured the same package as previous models, delivering the same technical, visual, and performance specifications without any changes whatsoever.

In the visual department, the bike had standard features, like a round headlight with a chromed housing, a pulled-back handlebar, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a two-piece dual seat, side-mounted rear shocks, a single exhaust system mounted on the left side, and wire-spoke wheels.

The 1991 Aprilia 125 Red Rose had its heartbeat set by a 124cc two-stroke single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine mounted underneath its teardrop-shaped fuel tank, boasting 27 hp at 10,250 and 23 Nm (17 lb-ft) torque at 8,000 rpm.
