The Aprilia Mana 850 was a naked bike built by Aprilia from 2007 until 2016. It was a small, light, and comfortable machine that was also available partially faired under the Mana 850 GT designation.

In 2008, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Aprilia Mana 850 ABS alongside the standard model. As its name suggests, the bike came with the same package as the base model but with additional safety equipment in the form of an Anti-Lock Braking System.

Besides the updated braking system, the bike featured the same technical, visual, and performance specifications as the standard model without any significant modifications whatsoever.

The most notable feature of the motorcycle was its automatic transmission that delivered three riding modes: Sport, Touring, and Rain. The Sport mode provided maximum power, torque, and engine braking, the Touring mode scaled down the responsiveness and improved fuel efficiency, and the Rain mode reduced torque by 25 percent.

Besides the automatic gear changes, the bike could also be set in Manual mode, allowing riders to change gears from the standard foot-shifter or paddle-shifters mounted on the left side of the handlebar.

As for power, the 2008 Aprilia Mana 850 ABS had installed an 839cc four-stroke V-twin liquid-cooled engine at its core, boasting 76 hp at 8,000 rpm and 73 Nm (54 lb-ft) torque at 5,000 rpm.
