APRILIA Mana 850 (2008-2009) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2009, the Italian motorcycle maker released the Aprilia Mana 850, a sports motorcycle fitted with standard fittings, such as an oval-shaped headlight, a two-piece dual seat with a passenger grab rail, an under-seat fuel tank, a storage compartment in the usual fuel tank location, a two-into-one exhaust system with a silencer on the left side, and multi-spoke alloy wheels.

The Aprilia Mana 850 was a naked motorcycle produced by Aprilia from 2007 until 2016. It was a small, light, and comfortable motorcycle and was also available partially faired under the Mana 850 GT designation.

One notable feature of the Mana 850 model was the automatic transmission with three riding modes: Sport, Touring, and Rain. The Sport mode provided maximum power, torque, and engine braking, the Touring mode scaled down the responsiveness and improved fuel efficiency, and the Rain mode reduced torque by 25 percent.

In addition to its automatic settings, the transmission could also be set in Manual mode, changing gears from the standard foot-shift or paddle-shifters placed on the left side of the handlebar. Also, the instrument panel included a gear position indicator.

In the power department, the 2008 Aprilia Mana 850 had its heartbeat set by an 839cc four-stroke V-twin liquid-cooled engine that delivered an output power of 76 hp at 8,000 rpm and 73 Nm (54 lb-ft) torque at 5,000 rpm.
