APRILIA ETV 1000 Caponord (2003-2004) Specs, Performance & Photos

-The Aprilia ETV Caponord was a road enduro machine produced by Aprilia between 2001 and 2017. In addition, the bike was part of the same family as the Aprilia RST 1000 Futura and RSV Mille.

In 2003, the Italian bike maker launched the Aprilia ETV 1000 Caponord, an enduro motorcycle that debuted in 2001. It was in its third year of production and packed the same technical, visual, and performance specifications as previous models without changes.

The bike's aesthetic department was characterized by standard fittings such as wire-spoke wheels, an under-seat-mounted exhaust system, a two-piece dual seat with passenger grab rails, a medium-sized windscreen, and a half fairing with a large headlight unit.

In the suspension department, the bike had a 50 mm Marzocchi fork with 175 mm of travel on the front and an adjustable Sachs shock absorber with 185 mm wheel travel on the rear, providing excellent suspension performance and handling.

As for the stopping power, the bike's wheels were fitted with two 300 mm brake discs with dual-piston calipers on the front wheel and a 270 mm disc with a dual-piston caliper on the rear wheel, offering the right amount of stopping performance.

As for power, the 2003 Aprilia ETV 1000 Caponord had installed a 998cc four-stroke liquid-cooled V-twin engine underneath its fuel tank, delivering 98 hp with a peak force at 8,250 rpm and 97 Nm (72 lb-ft) torque at 6,250 rpm.
