APRILIA Dorsoduro 750 Concept (2008-2008) Specs, Performance & Photos

It all started with the concept of the Aprilia Dorsoduro 750, a natural evolution of function and shape, set in motion by the desire to offer riders an aggressive supermotard with excellent styling and better performance architecture.

The designers had a difficult task, making the motorcycle a top-drawer ride with an excellent appearance, which they carried out with flying colors. The bike featured edgy and aggressive design cues, complemented by function-focused engineering, resulting in a lovable machine.

The Aprilia Dorsoduro was a range of V-twin powered bikes part of the supermotard class produced by Aprilia since 2008. The range comprised three models: the standard 750cc model, the later 1200cc version, and the final 900cc model.

The bike was fitted with standard features, such as a small front cowl with a single headlight unit, a high-mounted front fender, a one-piece dual seat, an under-seat-mounted exhaust system, and 12-spoke alloy wheels.

The bike was built around a modular steel trellis frame with a 43 mm inverted fork on the front with 120 mm of travel and an adjustable single shock absorber on the rear with 160 mm of travel.

As for power, the 2008 Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 Concept was equipped with a 749cc four-stroke liquid-cooled V-twin engine with a fuel injection system feeding the pistons, boasting 95 hp at 9,000 rpm and 81 Nm (60 lb-ft) torque at 7,000.
