APRILIA Atlantic 125 (2003-2004) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2003, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer released the Aprilia Atlantic 125, a small-displacement scooter powered by the Piaggio Leader engine. It was in its second production year and was delivered alongside its slightly larger displacement sibling with a 200cc engine.

The 2003 model came in the same shape and form as the previous one, packing the same technical, performance, and visual specifications without any significant changes.

Aesthetically, the scooter was characterized by standard fittings, such as a full bodywork, a dual headlight system, a large windscreen, a one-piece dual seat with a rider lumbar support, and a passenger backrest, a single exhaust muffler mounted on the right-hand side, and five-spoke aluminum wheels.

The scooter's front end was controlled by a 35 mm hydraulic telescopic fork that acted as suspension and offered 105 mm of travel and two 240 mm brake discs with three-piston calipers. In contrast, the rear end was controlled by a single shock absorber with 110 mm of travel and a 190 mm disc with a dual-piston caliper.

As for the power figures, the 2003 Aprilia Atlantic 125 had its soul brought to life by a 124cc four-stroke liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that delivered 12 hp. The rear wheel was set in motion by a CVT transmission with a dry automatic clutch and a final belt drive.
