2013 seems to be the year of faux-velvet-wrapping in the car tuning scene. We can't say that we're the biggest fans of the trend, but, compared to the headlight eye lids current or the truck nuts extravaganza from a few years ago this seems a bit less tacky.
Not to say that we enjoy it, but the blue-velvet wrap of the following smart fortwo kind of suits the car, in a very weird/fetish way, especially since the white Tridion cell has also been wrapped in a fake crocodile leather.

The entire car now looks like a luxury purse on wheels, so the fashion statement made by the “probably” Italian lady-owner of the car is right up there with Lady Gaga's meat dress.

From what we gather, the tiny fortwo has been spotted by autojunk.nl member 560pkferrari somewhere in Monaco, although the car is wearing Italian plates. We could probably speculate from this info that it might belong to an Italian fashion model that's in love with velvet and white crocodile skin clothing.
