The Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG is one of our favorite four-wheeled creations that came out of Affalterbach, with its epic M156 being by far our favorite V8 on the planet.
There are plenty of reasons for feeling infatuated with the soon to be defunct 6.2-liter, normally-aspirated engine, but pretty much all of them are related in one way or another with the downright hair-raising exhaust soundtrack it can provide.
The Brits from Rebellion Automotive weren't exactly satisfied with both the stock exhaust sound and the performance of a Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe so they decided to do something about it.
By “something” we are talking about some new headers and mid-pipes, new air filters and an ECU tune.
All this increased the M156's power from the stock 457 hp and 600 Nm (443 lb ft) of torque to no less than 555 hp and 702 Nm (518 lb ft) of torque. Not to be forgotten is the new even louder and more menacing exhaust sound, as it can be observed in the following video.
