Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren with Quicksilver Exhaust Sounds Angry

The no-longer in production SLR McLaren was one of the most good-looking supercar grand tourers in the first decade of the 21st century.
Sporting all the comfort and amenities you would expect in a high end Mercedes-Benz and with performance to shame quite a lot of Ferraris and Lamborghinis of the era it was built in, the SLR's single most annoying feature was its less-than-offensive exhaust sound.

Especially since we're talking about a car with two oversized exhaust tips on each side of its long, F1-inspired gigantic hood.

That “problem was rectified by the following Arab owner of an SLR McLaren Roadster with the addition of an aftermarket exhaust system made by Quicksilver.

We don't know if the 626 hp of the 5.4-liter supercharged engine were multiplied in any way by the much more sporty-sounding exhaust system it has now, but the car sure sounds as good as it looks now, with a combination of a Spitfire/Messerschmidt roar at almost any rpm. Check out the video below, courtesy of YouTube user 458MRP, to see and hear the modified car in action on the supercar-filled streets of London.
