While technically it's just a 3d rendering that previews how a new Lorinser bodykit will look on the W222 generation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, we can't help but feel our eyes squint at the tasteless details.
Our main disapproval obviously resides with the front bumper, which looks way too aggressive compared the usual understated elegance of a luxury sedan on one thing, and too much like a smiling Japanese Manga character on another.
The side bits of the bodykit add the usual Lorinser non-functional vents behind the front wheel arches, with another set now sitting behind the rear wheel arches.
The rear bumper oddly seems to be diffuser-free, with the overall design being a bit more mellow compared to the front.
In the three preview images released, we can also see a new grille, fitted with an oversized version of the Lorinser logo, the usual set of Lorinser directional light-alloy wheels, two side skirts, a trunk lip and four exhaust tips. While the bodykit is light years away compared to the ASMA Design atrocities from a few years ago, this Lorinser doesn't float our boat at all. What do you guys think about it?
