2015 CLS 63 AMG X218 Facelift Interior Spied

First spied a couple of weeks ago with a cloth hood covering its new tablet-like display, the interior of the upcoming facelift for the CLS is now almost entirely undisguised, with the Mercedes-Benz test driver in charge of the car forgetting to cover it up upon his exit.
As the model spotted is the CLS 63 AMG, you can see the MCT Speedshift transmission lever in its regular position on the transmission tunnel, while the new three-spoke steering wheel is looking much better now that its shiny metal bits are no longer hidden.

By far the biggest surprise is how well implemented is the new tablet-like screen from a design point of view, looking way less awkward and "after-thought" than the ones on other recent Mercedes-Benz models – or maybe that's just us.

Another surprise is the absence of the recently-introduced touchpad controller, which will apparently be featured on the C-Class C205 but not on some of its bigger brothers, such as this CLS facelift.
