Released in 2007, the Linea was meant to replace the old Marea. It was the larger saloon in the Fiat’s range and was based on the Fiat Grande Punto platform.

The Linea was designed to attract more buyers with the sleek and elegant exterior look. The sedan had generous dimensions, reason why headroom and legroom was never a reason to complain.

The trunk size offered a great load capacity of 500 L.

The interior was designed with great attention to details, good quality materials and a pleasant combination of colors.

The engines offered with the Linea offered good performance along with great fuel efficiency and they met the Euro 4 norm.

Users could choose from 2 engine options, a 1.4-liter powerplant with 77 hp or a 1.3-liter Multijet turbodiesel that produced 90 hp.

The Linea featured an automatic climate control, the Blue&Me system with an USB port, a radio with CD-player (MP3 also) and Cruise control along with parking sensors.

Equipped with a well designed suspension, the Linea offered easy and precise steering.

Safety wise, the Linea offered a great braking system, 6 airbags as standard, ABS, Electronic Brake Distribution and an optional ESP (Electronic Stability Program).

While offering lots of features, the Linea was still a good option for the money.
