The CTS Coupe was used to turn heads on the streets due to its appealing exterior design. The car was built with a slightly modified chassis, borrowed from the CTS sedan and was powered by a 3.0-liter V6 engine that produced 304 hp.

The engine was mated to a standard 6-speed automatic gearbox.

The CTS was available with three trim levels, base, Performance and Premium. For the Performance and Premium, buyers could opt for a 6-speed manual transmission.

The Base trim level offered 18-inch alloys, rear parking sensors, heated outside mirrors, keyless entry, 10-way power adjustable seats and a nice 8-speaker Bose audio system.

The more advanced Performance added xenon headlamps along with foglamps, a Bluetooth available connection and heated front seats. Buyers could add an extra package to the Performance trim, in case they decided they needed a rearview camera, LED interior lightning, a heated steering wheel and a 10-speaker audio system.

The top of the range was represented by the Premium trim level which included everything mentioned above, but offered a sunroof and a touchscreen navigation system.

The CTS Coupe was far less roomy than the sedan, not ensuring a very comfortable ride for the rear passengers due to a reduced headroom and legroom.

The car offered a standard rear-wheel drive and an optional all-wheel-drive.
