After finding out about a new BMW sub-brand that will be manufactured in China exclusively, called Zhi-Nuo ("the promise") the world started wondering what could this move mean.
Well, according to LeftLaneNews.com, it seems like the new brand will be sold in other countries too, but under a different name: Zinoro. They claim that this is actually official and they found out about it from a leaked document.

Zinoro will be positioned somewhere under the MINI brand and will be an entry-level car, available around the world through BMW's dealerships. The main products of the new sub-brand will be green vehicles and the first one is supposed to be an all-electric CUV based on the X1.

These rumors might actually be true, considering a possible all-electric X1 was just spotted testing in Sweden last week. Furthermore, this new attempt will allow BMW to build another assembly plant in China in collaboration with Briliance, in the Tie Xi district of Shengyang.

This new plant will be building both Zinoro and BMW cars, thus allowing the Munich based manufacturer to increase its production considerably, in order to meet market demands.
