FREIGHTLINER Coronado 2009 - Present

Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) have revealed in October 2009 a new Freightliner Coronado Class-8 heavy-duty truck. Along with an SD (Severe Duty) version, the Freightliner Coronado received an improved engine range and BlueTec diesel technology, that allow for more than 80 percent reduction in nitrogen oxide emissions. Also the 2009 Coronado boasts improved aerodynamics for reduced air resistance, which also contribute for a smoother drive and less fuel consumption. This has been achieved thanks to a development done in the wind tunnel.
