Used Car Guide: 2009-2013 Toyota Corolla by Autos Canada
The outgoing 10th Corolla generation is a good vehicle, with its mechanical underpinnings being almost the same as with the 2014 one’s, so if you don’t mind the less attractive looks, you can have a sturdy car for less cash.
Autos.ca released a used car guide with some checks you should perform before purchasing a 2009-2013 Toyota Corolla. Here are a few:
- Check the dashboard lights and look for the ABS one, which might be caused by a bad electrical connector.
- Obtain both remote key fobs and verify if they work properly.
- Also check all the door handles, inside out, and the trunk latch to make sure they are ok.
- Check the footwells for signs of moisture or mildew, which can be caused by a leaky window seal or sunroof drain tube.
