Inspired by the one on the Auris model, the Corolla’s new dashboard also bares some design cues from the bigger 2013 Avalon sedan, giving the occupants a bit more of a luxurious feel.
Due to the 3.93 inch wheelbase increase for the new model, the space inside grows a bit, while better sound proofing makes it a quieter environment. Front seats have adopted a slim shape and the rear passenger floor got flatter, increasing the occupants’ legroom.
The front seats also got more supportive lower cushions and a bolster design, added to the 15-mm (0.59 inch) range of adjustment increase. Depending on what trim level you choose, the seats can be wrapped in detailed fabric or a durable SofTex material.
