2014 Toyota Corolla’s “Legacy Is Intact” - The Weekly Driver

What the Japanese automaker did, was to keep all the bulletproof mechanics intact and upgrade only what it didn’t work. This case - it’s design. Toyota managed to take the Corolla’s face out of the “electric appliance zone” and almost make it as shouty as the Lexus’.
So, basically, now you have the same reliability inherited from the other 10 generations but with really nice looks and a more executive feeling, at about the same money.
The Weekly Driver has recently tested the 2014 Toyota Corolla and the only thing the reviewers didn’t like was the automatic transmission, which seemed a bit sluggish on shifts. Read their full review here.
