Aside from the stunning new Lexus LF-NX concept debuting soon at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, the luxury automaker will also showcase the new GS 300h for the first time in Europe.
With the introduction of the GS 300h, Lexus will be the first prestige brand to offer a choice of two full hybrid powertrains for the same model.

The new GS 300h is powered by a second generation Lexus Hybrid Drive system comprising a 141 bhp (105 kW) electric motor and a 2.5-liter four-cylinder Atkinson cycle gasoline engine developing 178 bhp (133 kW) and 221 Nm of torque. The total system power is rated at 220 bhp (164 kW), all being delivered to the rear axle via an electronic continuously variable transmission (ECVT).

As with the current Lexus GS 450h, the GS 300h can be fitted with the F Sport package that enhances the sedan’s fascia, sharpens the suspension, adds the optional 19-inch alloy wheels as well as the additional body finishes - G White, Starlight Black and Midnight Blue.

Stay tuned as we will provide more information and photos with the new Lexus GS 300h debuting at Frankfurt.
