Driving a friend's Amarok for a weekend, I was amazed enough. Luxury interior, nice looks, well specified. Car feeling is apparent anytime, for jeeping buy a Wrangler. But in open roads the steering wasn't so informative and the car tends to float a bit. This is a real advantage in 4x4 cases as the car smoothly pass everything and the off road systems work well. The 2.0 LT engine struggles to deal with the 2 tonne car and the torque is insufficient. Consider 10.5-12 lt/100km a logical number. Amarok: A mixed bag in my opinion.
