OMG I hate you guys! Why did you ever leave me around a cute little car like this? From the moment I stepped inside it I knew this was the right car for a lady like myself. The mustard-yellow color, the racing stripes on the hood, the black wheels, the retro motifs all around the exterior and the interior... everything looks and feels perfect!
And on top of that, it's a convertible! How cool is that? If it were pink instead of yellow I would have looked like Penelope Pitstop from “Wacky Races” the other day at the mall. This is the kind of car that unleashes the racing driver in you, even though my driving skills are about as good as those of my teenage cousin. I have to mention that he's quite good at playing Gran Turismo on his PlayStation, so I'm not THAT bad.
You guys know me, it rarely happens that I can say only nice things about a car. I remember that on the first day I took it for a spin it simply forced itself into my soul. It even has a timer on the dashboard to show you much you're driving it with the roof down! I have to say that I instantly became in love with it, no doubt about that.
There is enough space inside for myself, my weekly boyfriend and a couple of backpacks for when travelling to the mountain side. Also, there are not one but TWO glove compartments, more than enough for all my girlie things to put inside. One of them can even be locked with the car key, so it's like having an onboard safe. Pretty cool, huh?
What I didn't quite like was the gigantic speedometer on top of the center console though. I do wear colored contact lenses or fashionable pairs of glasses sometimes but I sure am not blind. Does that dial really have to be that big? It's almost as large as a frying pan. Anyway, apart from that, everything was top notch about the Mini. I don't have a single bad thing to say about it. Oh wait, yes I do. It's not mine! Why isn't it mine?
