So, this is the latest version of the... ahem... Popemobile? I have to admit that they years of evolution can literally be seen on the car's fascia, but the design is way too American for me. By the way, have you ever driven a ML? It's safe and comfortable, but I can say the same things about my... ahem... bedroom.
The vehicle's appearances are, in a way, deceiving, as the tech side, or at least the feeling it gives you, hasn't changed as much as the styling cues lead you to believe.
The ML is fine, and its interior even deserves to be called an element of... ahem... indulgence, but why should I buy it over a Range Rover?
Please, stop the arguments this instant - the new Range Rover, which is coming this year, will solve all this. In fact, this is the problem with the ML - it's a car that delivers on many promises, but will never excel at anything.
If you're like, go for the Range Rover or, if you prefer... ahem... to break the law, choose a Cayenne. Otherwise, choose a Touareg - it's a more fair proposition.
