As a ML owner (2007), I see this new model as an extended facelift.
Mercedes philosophy is kind of hard to understand for young people.
They strive for perfect comfort, but by doing this they fail at many important points:
- brake feeling (mushy), this is an old problem, now classic
- strange air suspension compared with the similar from Porsche Cayenne or VW Touareg => bad comfort, sea sickness and dangerous behavior when you must brake to stop...
I had two air explosions in my AIR suspensions! (left front - last summer, left back - 2 days ago), both when the car was still!
I don't want to think what would happen if I was speeding...
This is on a 88 000 Km car!
- NO off-road pack for US (?)
- from my experience.. a lot of liability problems with this model...
My next car? Back to BMW...
