Oh Jesus, these guys at Honda seem to be keen to continue with their bulls**t... It's just sad to see how a big company that had a shot at becoming a real challenger for the Germans ruins all its efforts with this kind of rolling cans...
Okay, I fully understand, we need hybrids to protect the environment, blah blah blah, we need electric cars because we're gonna destroy the planet and kill all the beings. But how could ever name a hybrid "sporty"?! How can you even think about that? Sporty means power, adrenaline, it means torque and high-speed, you must be insane to think that a hybrid could ever give you these.
I remember the first time I drove a BMW. It was probably the moment that changed my view over the whole auto world. You can't compare the smell of burned diesel or hot tires with the one of an electric motor. It's like struggling to convince yourself that you're eating some beef steak when you're actually chewing a gum.
My knock-knocks are telling me that the interior is pretty high-quality, it's impressive to see that Honda did that with recyclable materials. But this doesn't mean I'm ready to trade this for leather and wood. No way!
And the rear seats?! LOL! (I learned that from Chatroullete, I'm trying to find my match on the Internets, too bad it's full of guys). How could I ever use those tiny seats to carry my furniture? Or my dog? Or maybe a bag of carrots... Too small, too useless and so limited interior space.
If you're willing to listen to my opinion, and I know you are since I'm such a connoisseur, Honda didn't manage to make a compromise. It tried to offer both a spacious trunk and a rear bench, but it failed to do such. It actually ruined both of them, now the only things you get are two tiny seats and one small trunk.
So why would somebody every buy a CR-Z when there's always another solution, preferably a diesel one, wearing a German badge?
