Mopar HEMI Challenge Race Series to Debut at NHRA US Nationals

Chrysler's Mopar parts division announced this week that the 800 horsepower monsters 1968 Dodge Darts and Plymouth Barracudas will attend, for the 40th time, the National Hot Rod Association's (NHRA) US Nationals, set to debut at Mac Tools US Nationals in Indianapolis, starting September 2. Following this event, the series will take to JEGS Northern Sports nationals in Columbus, Ohio (September 25) and finally reach the Dutch Classic at Maple Grove Raceway in Reading, on October 22. “The Mopar HEMI Challenge illustrates the amazing dedication of the grassroots racers who are the core of the series,” Jim Sassorossi, Mopar Global Parts sales and marketing director said in a release. “The dedicated racers who compete in the Mopar HEMI Challenge buy parts from a ... >> Read more
