2005 Dan Wheldon wins the IndyCar Series title, driving for the same Andretti Green Racing. He also takes victory in the Indianapolis 500. AGR also enters the IndyCar's Indy Pro Series.
2006 Michael Andretti comes back to racing and competes in the Indianapolis 500. Ranks 3rd at the end of the race, gaining 35 points and finishing the season in 24th place. The team announces entrance in the ALMS starting 2007.
2007 Andretti Green Racing wins the IndyCar Series title through Dario Franchitti. The Scot leaves the series at the end of the year for a shot inside NASCAR's Nationwide Series. He is replaced by rookie Hideki Mutoh for the upsoming season.
2008 Tony Kanaan ranks the highest from all AGR drivers in 2008, finishing 3rd overall in the driver point standings. Mutoh also ends the season in 10th place, while also clinching the Rookie of th Year award at the end of the year. Danica Patrick becomes the first female to win an open-wheel open course race in North American racing series following her great performance at Motegi. The team ends the season with 2 wins and 4 poles overall.
