As some automakers are getting ready to launch their all electric vehicles, more and more people are showing interest in such vehicles. One of the most important models coming this year is the Nissan Leaf. According to Japanese newspaper Mainichi Shimbun, the price for the EV in Japan will be somewhere between 3.5 million and 4 million yen, which is about $38,667 to $44,191 U.S. at today's exchange rates. Even if this price is accurate, it doesn’t mean that the US price will be the same, but still the Leaf seems expensive. Even with the $7,500 federal tax credit, the car would cost more than $30,000.
