Hyundai has officially revealed the “Elantra Coupe Zombie Survival Machine” at this year’s edition of the Comic-Con. The idea and the story behind this car is very cool, and it has everything to do with Robert Kirkman’s graphic series The Walking Dead.
To cope with the endless hordes of undead at the end of the world as we know it, the Elantra Coupe has been kitted out with a cool zombie plow at the front, tipped with huge metal spikes that will impale the nightmarish creatures.

The windows on the car were armored, and there’s even a roof hatch when the use of a machinegun drive-by is required. To this end, the truck is packed with guns and when you run out of ammo, spikes sticking out of the wheels will stop the zombies in their tracks.

"Our custom Elantra Coupe Zombie Survival Machine is the ultimate car for The Walking Dead fans and anyone who wants to survive a zombie invasion. We are excited for fans to come and experience the Elantra Coupe and GT in a unique, post-apocalyptic way,” said Steve Shannon, Hyundai America VP of Marketing, said.
