Youtuber Shmee150 Tried to Buy a McLaren MSO HS Ten Months Ago, Got Rejected

The Brit's latest clip seems him explaining how he tried to purchase the 688 PS (make that 671 American ponies) machine back in October last year, which is when he found out about the model coming to life.

Nevertheless, Shmee explains he didn't make the cut - remember, the rumor mill talks about a production run of just 25 units.

For the record, the vlogger had owned a 650S Spider and a 675LT with a few MSO options at the time, but, apparently, this wasn't enough to help him get on the High Sport-privileged owners list.

As those of you following his adventures know, Shmee got himself a 675LT Spider meanwhile, the one you can see in this video, along with his other current cars.

And yes, we are talking about a man who was granted access to the initial 500-unit production run of the 2017 Ford GT without having owner the first GT, which only comes to show that, for whatever exclusivity game you can think of, the automotive world is ready to come up with something even more special.

Interestingly, Shmee let it slip that he knows five people who were able to spend their money on the latest McLarens Special Operations beast, one of which he expects to sell his car.

So if you're reading this with the comfort of a hefty bank account and couldn't get an MSO HS, there might still be hope for you. Such speculation moves do come with their price, though, so expect the adventure to be quite a lot costlier compared to an official purchase.
