It looks like age is not that important when it comes to custom bike building. So here's a bike spotted by Cyril Huze in Germany, at the Custom Chrome Expo... and it builder is just 21, as stricking as it seems.
Paul is a Dutch bike enthusiast and mechanic for L&L Choppers, one of Holland's biggest chopper shops, and this makes it really easy to understand why Paul chose an 1200 Sportster as the donor bike. However, donor might be a ta too much, as the H-D only provided the engine, tranny and several more parts.

Paul's bike rides with a frame designed by himself and had it custom built: a 40-degree rake and 23" wheel adorn the front end, while the springer fork is as retro as it goes. He also modified some Panhead rocker covers to fit on Sportster cylinders.

Paul taught himself how to work with a lathe and how to weld, and so he was able to manufacture many other parts, including the tank, license plate holder, bolts and various other fittings.

It took Paul 4 years to complete this bike, and the finishing goldleaf and piping have beautifully finished his work and in case he plans to go all custom, we might be looking at a new Arlen Ness or Jesse James...
