You Could Skip Plowing This Winter With Nordic Auto Plow

Winter is coming (if it’s not there already) and the one thing nobody missed is getting outside and start shoveling those layers of snow. But there is a way you could avoid freezing hands and being late for work: Nordic Auto Plow.

No, we’re not suffering from Alzheimer. We’re not talking about Ford’s snow plow prep option, even though that would probably do a better job.

The Nordic Auto Plow is rather a cheaper and easier-to-attach plastic enhancement that works great on most passenger cars and SUV’s. Its creator claims it takes a minute to attach it to the vehicle with no hassle whatsoever, considering it only weighs 52 lbs (23,5 kg). You simply drag it to the front of your car, attach the 4 straps and 2 bungee cords and start plowing from the warmth of your car.

The blade is 79 inches (200 cm) long, 19,5 inches (49,53 cm) high and it comes with 5 blade sections, extender plates, cop plates, cogs, studs, hardware, straps, clips, adjustable bungees and lawn markers. Its round edges ensure it won’t catch on paving bricks and the blade is reversible, thus doubling its lifespan. Want to work even faster? Buy two plows and mount one on your vehicle’s rear bumper.

There are some restrictions, however, the plastic plow is designed for passenger vehicles with front bumpers measuring 14 inches from the ground to the bottom of the bumper. Those between 14 inches (35,5 cm) and 17 inches (43,18) from the ground will require the purchase of square bolts and some modification of the standard assembly instructions.

However being comfortable will come with a price as the 79" Auto Straight Plow is going to cost you $700.
