Yellow Ford GT on ADV.1 Wheels Is Cooler Than Everything

Cars like the Fusion mid-size sedan, the new Mustang and the Focus ST make Ford a cool car brand. But there was a time when a single model made them awesome. It doesn't drive itself and it certainly won't do any miles on battery power alone, but the Ford GT is still one awesome piece of machinery.

Seriously, if you have the money, find one and buy it. This car is amazing, especially in this yellow color. The numbers and the way it's put together make you question why Ford ever tried to make a mid-engined blue collar supercar. They didn't have to, but thank the lord of gasoline that they did. Right behind the driver sits a 5.4-liter all-aluminum engine with a huge supercharger on top of it, pushing the 8 cylinders to produce 550 horsepower.

If we remember correctly, the Ford GT was sold with forged BBS wheels that had the model's name on the central cap and were wrapped in Eagle F1 "supercar tires". That was 2006, and this is 2014, when we're showing you a fresh take from Wheels Specialists and ADV.1.

The American alloy company chose the ADV005TSCS rim for this GT, with a yellow-painted rim and smoke titanium spokes. The 3-piece system is held together with small screws that are just as nice as the wheel itself. Where the rubber meets the road, the Ford supercar boasts 21 by 13 inches of aggression and some Pirelli sticky tires.

So Ford, you can keep your future hybrid, EV and self-driving projects. All we want is another one of these!
