Abu Dhabi’s BMW dealership has to be one of the most exclusive in the world. We’ve seen dozens of new, unique cars over there that appeal to every possible taste. This time, they brought in a Yas Marina Blue wearing some rather special M Performance Parts.
As we all know, usually, the M Performance parts added to a car are left just as BMW intended them to be, with the carbon fiber weave exposed. Not this time though, as somebody wanted his car to be special. And special it is.
The front end received a new splitter that, even though it’s made of carbon fiber, it’s done in the same color as the rest of the car. However, the air intake add-ons were left to their original color, creating a beautiful effect between the Yas Marina Blue and the carbon fiber.
Also up front, right between the LED headlights, the M Performance gloss black kidney grilles showed up, looking fresh as alway. It might be a personal choice but I for one, hate all the chromed details on recent BMWs.
The M Performance carbon fiber mirror covers were also left intact, matching the roof and the boot lid spoiler for what we might call ‘the carbon fiber trifecta’. In between the tailpipes anotherpiece of carbon fiber awaits in the shape of an air diffuser.
Inside, things are rather stock and that might be due to several reasons. First of all, the Sakhir Orange leather used throughout the cabin is absolutely gorgeous and really couldn’t be enhanced with Alcantara or anything else the M Performance catalogue has to offer, honestly. The same applies for the steering wheel. Alas, the wheels could’ve done with a bigger diameter and maybe a black finish. Just saying...
