What happens if you put together the passion for Tim Burton's creations, a 30-years old Virago 750 and the constructive skills of a Polish bike enthusiast?
Well, in case the Polish guy is Tony Mroczek, the result si a bike that's as cool-looking as it is somewhat unexpected: the Black Mat Ed, a roadster inspired by Burton's Edward Scissorhands movie.

Changing the looks of the 750 Virago and turning it into something different was no easy task, as choppers usually stay choppers. Tony begged to differ so every bit of unnecessary part went away: he also wanted a lighter bike, both on the constructive and aesthetic side, so he needed freedom.

Throwing everything away provided him with the freedom he sought, and adding an upside-down Yamaha R1 fork was only the beginning. R1 rim, brakes and rotors were kept in place because they looked good and offered awesome performance.

The bars were low, so the tank had to be high, in order to add an even more massive character to the build. A Harley-Davidson seat and some nice contrasting golden paint every here and there to match the gold forks, and the bike was almost ready.

Tony hopes to add some custom Scissorhands and Nightmare Before Christmas graphics to the tank, even if his build looks awesome just as it is. Via Pipeburn.
