The creator of this dark, menacing Yamaha XJR1300 is the London-based Andrius "Wisdom Wood". Looking for the best way to turn the XJR1300 into a cafe-racer or flat-track machine, designs to which he is simply addicted, Andrius figured out that much of the bike parts should be stripped off.
And off they went, side panels, bulky instrument cluster, exhaust line and the whole rear of the machine, including seat, cowl, lights and subframe. The new beast had to be lower and shorter, yet capable to accommodate a pillion passenger, since Andrius wanted to ride with his girlfriend, too.

A new subframe has been designed, incorporating the rest of the elements which had been taken off: tail light and blinkers. And since the rear of the bike had to be really clean, a registration plate holder was fixed directly to the swingarm, in a very Diavel-esque manner which we totally dig.

The tank was also redesigned to accommodate the lowered handlebars, and a steering damper was installed, together with a small digital tacho and low-profile headlight. A wrapped exhaust line with diminutive silencers took the place of the stock one and almost everything got a stylish satin black paint job matching the sued seat and in a beautiful contrast of the yellow Öhlins rear shocks.
