Yamaha Announces Limited Edition Fazer and FZ-S Bikes for India [Photo Gallery]
Yamaha Moto India launches the Limited Edition Fazer and FZ-S bikes, probably the most successful bikes the Japanese company has ever sold in this market. The new livery is a staggering Battle Green combined with matter black and yellow accents, making these two of the nicest small machines we saw so far in 2013. The whole graphics are upgraded and we know these will sell like hot cakes.
Both the Yamaha Fazer and the FZ-S are powered by an 153cc air-cooled 4-stroke engine delivering a very usable 14.2 HP at 7,500 rpm and a max torque of 13.6 Nm (10 lb-ft) at 6,000 rpm. The bikes come with electric and kick start and are fed through a carburetor.
Front brakes use a drilled rotor, while the rear is covered for by a drum unit. Alongside the awesome graphics, we also dig the beefy VMAX-style exhaust and the compact, stylish digital console.
The FZ-S retails for $1,225 (€920) while the Fazer is a bit more expensive, at $1,310 (€983). We're also in desperate need of these battle green graphics in Europe and the US, in case anyone at Yamaha is paying attention...
