Xplore Jeep Grand Cherokee Ready for the Wilderness

In an effort to raise awareness about our National Parks, the folks at Xplore Vehicles have teamed up with a host of sponsors to create a SEMA-worthy Toyota FJ Cruiser last year. Now, the company has turned its attention to the bigger, more refined Jeep Grand Cherokee, which has been subjected to a number of improvements.

"Over the last 70 years, Jeep has defined true off-road capability and introduced the world to the great outdoors - the Jeep Grand Cherokee is an amazing vehicle," states Jeff Wyatt, CEO. "We feel privileged to offer this special version designed to deliver more power, capability and satisfaction to faithful Jeep enthusiasts."

The Grand Cherokee now sports beefy BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires wrapped around Method Race wheels. We don’t have exact data on ground clearance, but past Xplore vehicles have been outfitted to handle plenty of tough conditions without complaining.

The body of the Adventure Series Grand Cherokee is finished in a signature special matte clear
titanium grey paint with a charcoal leather interior by Katzkin. That doesn’t exactly sound like the kind of car you’d take rock climbing, but it looks cool as heck.

The Jeep features a modified suspension package and some very serious hardware from Mopar, BF Goodrich and Method Racing. The company even states that it can do much more for the vehicle than is shown in the images.

As with the rest of the Xplore customized vehicles, the goal behind this vehicle is to promote awareness of our national parks. When you purchase an Xplore Grand Cherokee, you're given a one-year pass to America's national parks. The company also offers a one-year subscription to the Xplore Lifestyle Journal, which talks about the places you should be taking your trail-blazing vehicle.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
