Porsche Design Studio partnered with Grand Home Holding’s Barbeques Galore Division, and created one of the most luxurious gas grills in the world, the X-Series.

The grill features a technology that, according to its manufacturer, uses up to 50% less gas and emits up to 80% less smoke than traditional grills. The X-series comes with front and back infrared ceramic burners, a built-in rotisserie with integrated rotisserie motor, counter balance hood and several electronic instruments.

Like a high-performance vehicle, it’s what’s under the hood that counts, so here are some of the features:

  • Temperature gauge
  • Secondary cooking rack
  • Four porcelain coated cast-iron cooking grids
  • Stainless steel firebox
  • Concealed cupboards (X-Series Island)
  • Insulated double walled hood
  • Black stone side shelves (X-Series Grill)
  • 1,120 total square inches of cooking surface
  • LCD display with remote probe
  • LED lights indicating burners in operation
  • Rechargeable battery pack for electrics

"The collaboration with Porsche Design Studio has been an incredible process to be a part of,"
said Jeffery Sears, CEO for Barbeques Galore. "Porsche Design Studio brought their impeccable sense of detail, beauty and best-in-class engineering to create a superior outdoor grilling system. We incorporated Crossray(R) which is the most advanced gas grilling system
available to consumers. The result is a winning combination of functionality and style found in the X-Series."

The X-Series Grill is available in a matte black finish, at $5,999, while the X-Series Island has a stainless steel finish, at $8,499.
