The World Series has just started so all fans are getting ready for the big games. Some are rather into basketball, others will only watch football, but this Kansas City Royals fan from Blue Springs, Missouri is all about baseball. In fact, he loves his favorite team that much he’s willing to sell his 1965 Ford Mustang to get tickets money for him and his family.
Jerod Main loves his classic muscle car, but he enjoys baseball even more. In fact, going to the World Series is such a big ideal for the man he is willing to trade the classic beauty for a chance to take his family of six for a game in Kansas City and in San Francisco.

It might seem crazy, but his thinking is quite practical after all: “I can buy another car on down the road, but seeing the Royals in the World Series is once every 30 years, almost” he explained.

He sells it for $24,000

He asks $24,000 for the classic muscle car, which is quite a good deal considering what we’re looking at. According to the Craigslist ad, the 1965 Ford Mustang fastback comes with a 4-speed manual transmission and is finished in a aqua-coral with white wimbledon stripes. Funny part is, he even wrote he needs the money to buy World Series Tickets in the announcement.

Maybe a car is worth more than that, but tickets for a game in Kansas City can get quite expensive, considering they start at $450, and even then you will likely get the bad seats.
