will.i.am Gets Himself a McLaren MP4-12C

Singer, songwriter, rapper, entrepreneur and actor will.i.am has learned a very serious from getting his unregistered DeLorean look-alike impounded, and has now jumped into something much better and very much road-legal.

We’re talking about a brand new and very cool ride, the McLaren MP4-12C, a British-built supercar to rival the Ferrari 458 Italia.

This photo was taken on the set of a new music video, where he was joined by other celebrities, like Dwyane Wade and Sir-Mix-a-Lot.

Currently, the McLaren is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, mated to a seven-speed SSG gearbox. We really don’t know if Will bought the British supercar or is just showing of a rental or a test vehicle. Either way, it’s not like he can’t afford it.

We’re hoping he doesn’t destroy the perfect body of the MP4-12C by letting WCC do their thing with it.
