Earlier this summer, Japanese tuner Liberty Walk previewed its ballistic exterior package for the Lamborghini Aventador and now the first images of the creation have leaked onto the web.
As we said in the past, this could just be the most flamboyant Aventador body kit so far. Liberty Walk already offers a custom apparel for the Italian temptress, but the package lacks their signature feature, the riveted-on fender elements. There are obviously present in the adjacent images and so is the massive fixed rear wing, another element seen on many Liberty Walk kits.
Regarding the elements we were already familiar with, these include the front apron, adorned with a CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced polymer) air splitter and CFRP side blades. Moving to the rear of the V12 machine, we find a rear diffuser, along with a massive rear wing. Did we say “massive”? That was probably wrong, since the new wing is even more generous in size.
As we’ve said on previous occasions, we’re not exactly fond of the global Aventador wing hysteria - it seems that a tuner can’t work on an Aventador without replacing the perfectly-engineered active wing of the car with a fixed element that Has to be larger.
The car used for the job was not just an Aventador, but a 50th Anniversario model, of which only 200 units were built (100 Coupes and 100 Roadster). We’re waiting for the official release in order to have a more complete picture of the development.
PS: the Liberty Walk team also took the time to shoot a more.... casual image, which means the photo set was more or less leaked.
