Why You Shouldn't Take the Porsche Panamera Turbo Offroading

Just like the fashion industry is facing the problem of the distorted Photoshop image that affects countless young ladies, the car business has its own faux material issue. We may have come across an example that perfectly illustrates this and we wanted to share it with you.

This comes in the form of the clip below, which shows what happens when people take the Porsche Panamera Turbo’s practicality too far. To put it shortly, the video shows a painful, pointless torture for a pre-facelift Panamera, with the driver acting like he must run for his life on a muddy, bumpy course.

Nonetheless, the point here is that while the car gets seriously trashed, the result doesn’t even look cool on camera. The video may show a Panamera in a scenario like you’ve never seen it before, but we’d hardly call it entertaining, even if the viewer couldn’t care less about the car’s health.

Oh and for those who aren’t sure the car is abused, believe us, from the paint to the shock absorbers, these are a lot bits and pieces that may not go through this test without losing some of their... innocence. And we're not even talking about the air time found around the middle point of the clip.

PS: air suspension regards aside, here's what the Porsche Panamera owner's manual says: "Risk of damage. The vehicle may touch thouch the ground as a result of reduced ground clearance."
