Some speeding tickets are crazier than others and we're here to talk about one that will probably put a smile on your face, with the adventure coming from the Gumball 3000 Rally vault.
Car journo Matt Farah, whose canyon carving videos have been thrilling us for quite a while now, can now be considered a hooning veteran and we want to look back at an occasion that certainly deserves a place on his MPH curriculum vitae.

The adventure surfaced thanks to Redditor willdogs, who noticed Matt getting a ticket for going 1 MPH (no typo here) over the limit during a Gumball edition held a couple of years ago.

As you'll be able to notice at the 2:57 point of the video below, Matt was enjoying himself together with two female friends in a Mustang, when he got pulled over - we'll stop the spoiler-throwing action at this point, so the clip can hit its entertainment target.

The Redditor asked the journalist about the experience and, since Matt was doing an Ask Me Anything piece on the social network, he explained what happened after he got the dreaded piece of paper.

"I went back to las vegas [he had been pulled over just outside the city] to fight that ticket. The judge called my name, I stood up, and he asked me, "1 mph over the limit? Is this correct, sir?" And I said, "yes, sir." And he said, "have a nice day." and that was that," Matt explained.

However, if you're planning to pull some hooning of your own, make sure you don't rely on such funny stories when assessing the risks associated with activities that involve throttle pedal welding. For instance, as Matt's recent adventures have shown us, you might just come across a driver dragging a log.
