It won’t be too much longer until the 2015 Ford Mustang is out roaming the streets, so until then, we’ll have to see this car out in the wild by vicariously living through the eyes and ears of others. This time, we get to hear the 2015 Ford Mustang GT revving its 5.0-liter V-8 for all to enjoy.
Recorded during the American Car Show in Mohonton, PA over the weekend, the enthusiastic handler of this 2015 Ford Mustang GT gives visitors exactly what they’re looking for by pegging the V-8 to its redline. The exhaust note of this engine V-8 is amazing with the same throaty growl that we’ve come to expect from the legendary pony car. And the exhaust note isn’t just for show. The new Mustang has plenty of go with 435 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque on tap.

This particular Mustang GT is equipped with the GT Performance Package, which is recognizable by the black Y-spoke wheels and the deleted spoiler. Other features included in this $2,495 option package include a strut tower brace, heavy-duty springs, K-brace, larger radiator and Brembo six-piston front calipers with larger-diameter rotors. The car is finished with the new-for-2015 Guard gray hue, which really adds to the sinister look of the sixth-generation Mustang.

While we’ve seen the new Mustang from just about every angle now including some pretty cool ride along video, this video is a minute and a half sales pitch as to why you should opt for the Mustang GT over the V-6 and EcoBoost models.
