When we’re talking about brakes, mentioning Ferrari’s customer racing models is usually enough to end a conversation. Nevertheless, not even the carbon ceramic units on models like the Ferrari 599XX Evo can stand in the way of a track day’s heat.
The (braking) result of a track session in such cars can be seen in the clip below, which shows those massive front rotors glowing in deceleration glory. The video includes three Prancing Horse customer racing models: the aforementioned 599XX Evo, the “standard” 599XX, if we can call it so and the Ferrari FXX Evo.

The footage, which is shown here in (some sort of ) slow motion, has been captured on the Spa-Francorchamps and Hockenheimring tracks, where the cars were being pushed to the limit.
