Watch a Traveler Escape an Attempted Armed Robbery in Argentina

Mike Graziano, a backpacker who is on a quest to visit 195 countries, got really lucky recently after an armed robber pulled out in front of his path and threatened him. The crazy incident took place in broad daylight in what he called a rough part of Buenos Aires, Argentina but happily nobody was injured. Good part is the enitre incident was recorded with a GoPro camera.

Graziano uploaded the video on his Youtube account, the same place where fans can follow his adventures around the globe. According to his video description, he was riding a bicycle in what he called a rough part of Buenos Aires, Argentina when a man on a scooter pulled out in front of his path. Trying to avoid an accident, he swerved, only to find himself chased by the robber and eventually forced to stop.

The guy held a gun and demanded him to give his “mochila” (which stands for backpack in Spanish). Somehow Mike Graziano (which is what the Youtube account is named after) managed to placate the man’s anger and ended up offering his bike instead and then ran away. He even found a police officer and told him the entire story.

We’re not quite sure if the footage he got on his GoPro camera can be used by police officers to actually arrest the guy, but it once again proofs the gadget comes in handy.
