Watch a Runaway Couple Ram a Police Bike and a Police Car

It looks like the inspiration provided by Bonnie and Clyde isn’t going to fade away too soon, as demonstrated by one couple in the UK. The two are currently on the run, with the Essex Police having released a clip that shows them in action.

The man, Luke Wall (23), accompanied by his SO, Teresa Connors (20) are shown pulling what seems to be their favorite move when pulled over by the cops - they do stop at the officer’s signal, but once their car is stationary, they put in into reverse and floor it towards the police vehicle.

The clip shows the two ramming into a police motorcyclist, as well as into an officer and his car. Alas, the motorcyclist was hurt in the unfortunate event.

In case you were wondering, Wall is wanted due to his connection to a robbery chain across East Anglia that saw... cars, as well as other goods worth over half a million pounds being taken.

When it comes to the details of the two, the story only gets worse. “Wall was released on strict bail conditions at Ipswich Crown Court on July 29 after being charged with conspiracy to burgle, but he failed to comply with his bail conditions and removed his electronic monitoring tag. Connors is in breach of bail conditions imposed at Maidstone Crown Court on July 28 for an offence of burglary and theft in Kent. She failed to attend Grays police station on August 19 and appears to have left her three children with her parents to be with Wall,” the police report shows.

The CCTV footage was released as a special measure, in order to demonstrate that it is crucial for the authorities to apprehend the couple. The Essex Police requests your assistance. If you happen to see Wall and Connors (it’s not clear how you should be able to identify the two), you are urged to call 999, while those possessing info on their location should contact the Essex Police on 101, asking for officers Grays CID. Of course, you can always call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
