Given the full info on the new BMW M5 has just been released and the plus size supermodel can’t be bought yet, people with cash in their pockets are probably desperate to own something to quench their thirst for a tricked-out 5er. This would be the perfect time for a tuning company to introduce something really special to cater to this need and create a stir.
Enter Wald International, the guys who know everything about lowering a luxury saloon to the ground and adding custom touches like LEDs and huge rims. The company that's probably the best known styling specialist from Japan has given the regular 5-Series a sinister makeover that would make even the M5 a bit envious.
The BMW 5er now comes with a fully aero body kit built from carbon fiber reinforced plastic. Up front, the bumper has been changed with one that still looks all-Bavarian but has more air vents and LED daytime running lights, while the standard lights also seem to have been played with. The Black Bison kit also adds bespoke side skirts, a beefy rear apron housing a diffuser and the firm’s familiar exhaust tail pipe design. A boot lip spoiler has bin added and colored in the same color as the body.
A set of multispoke alloy wheels fill up the wheel arches well and complete the look, together with the lowered suspension.
Unfortunately, interior styling upgrades are strictly limited to some custom-made floor mats, but if past projects are anything to go by, than potential customers should also look forward to other changes, including a sport steering wheel and carbon-fiber trim. We’ll bring you more details on the tune as soon as Wald makes them available.
