Vyrus Testing Their New Bikes at Mugello
The Italians have been rather scarce in providing more detailed information on the new machinery, but from the photo attached to the brief press release we clearly see that Vyrus added some bodywork to their track motorbike.
The intake is now positioned in the center of the fairing, as opposed to the production 984/985 models, which had a carbon fiber air channel on the left side. As far as we are concerned, we daresay the track bike looks way better in it's new attire, if we still could not tell exactly what lies underneath the fairing.
At Mugello, the new Vyrus was ridden by the young British Superbike talent Tommy Bridewell, currently in the 9th position in the British series. "I'm excited about the driving skills of this motorcycle, I think it can reach interesting targets, is very stable in fast corners and very rapid in changes of direction," added he.
We can only hope for some extra details on the new machine. Judging by what appears to be an empty space in the middle of the front cowl, we might believe a headlight assembly will fit in there at some point in the future.
