VW Up Rides on 17-inch Tomason Wheels

The VW Up is a mystery to us when it comes to the tuning world’s point of view: this car has a solid technical base and a quality interior, but lacks any trace of fun, which would make it the perfect starting point for any tuner that wants to showcase its potential. However, the German city car hasn’t received too many tuning proposals so far.

Fortunately, we’ve come a cross a pair of images that show the Up riding on a set of Tomason rims, which come in a 8x17-inch size and use a multi-spoke design. The brake calipers on the front axle, as well as the drums at the back have been finished in red, with the vehicle now coming with a more dynamic image.

This is really not bad, but we’d like to see more, amybe some engine tweaks...
